President's Message
Dear Friends,
Welcome to the Organization of Chinese American Women – Silicon Valley Chapter (OCAW-SVC).
It is my honor and privilege to serve as President of this remarkable organization. Since our chapter was founded in 1986, OCAW-SVC has been committed to empowering Chinese American women through leadership, education, advocacy, community engagement, and cultural exchange. As one of five active chapters of the OCAW in the United States, we are proud to continue a legacy of service, friendship, and lifelong learning.
Our chapter brings together women of diverse backgrounds, experiences, and generations who share a common desire to make a positive difference. We believe in the values of caring, sharing, learning, and serving. Whether through educational programs, community service, cultural celebrations, leadership development, or social gatherings, we strive to create opportunities for our members to grow, connect, and contribute.
We are committed to encouraging women to become leaders in their communities, promoting greater understanding and appreciation of Chinese American culture and contributions, and building meaningful partnerships with organizations that share our vision of service and inclusion. Together, we celebrate our heritage while embracing the diversity that enriches our communities.
